A nice naval officer's sword 1827/46. Nickelized blade with "Proved" stamp and "CIEVE MATTHEWS & SEACROVE ROYAL NAVAL OUTFITTERS" inscription. Both sides decorated by etched ornament. Has royal monogram under the crown in front and anchor on the back side. Leather hilt, gilded brass device. Original sword knot. Leather scabbard, brass device. Black leather sword knot. Total length: 96.7cm Blade length: 80cm
