Artikul: 59733 Sold
A nice Mauser 712 handgun, 1932 type. Original oil blue finish, good condition. Chinese order. This is deactivated gun. We know about guns adaptation to automatic fire experiments since XIX. However because of negative results didn't start mass production. Even during WWI military run out small and not so heavy automatic guns but this job wasn't done. Instead of military got long-barrelled guns with bigger magazine's capacity. So P.17 was very welcomed. It was very similar to "artillery" Parabellum gun with 200mm length, holster butt and TM.08 32-shot magazine. Mauser had 40-shot magazine and holster as well. This type of pistol-caliber carbines was a good alternative to submachine guns. In 1930 Mauser-Werke A.G borrows Uncety Y Compania (Spain) experience and starts production of C-96 with gun mode conversion. Now we have single shots and string of burst fire modes. This gun got name "Mauser Schnellfeuer Pistole". Model M.712 with attached 10- and 20-shot magazine became very popular. In 1932 starts production of automatic version. M.712 has Nikl design trigger. 850 shots per min. This 20-shot magazine and attached holster butt model was good alternative to compact submachine gun. М.712 was produced till middle 1936 - April 1938. Total about 95000 M.712 were made. In Germany this model was well-known as small submachine gun Mauser M.32. Germany bought about 10000 pieces for SS. Abwehr used this model pretty much. Balkans and China used M.712 as well.
