A nice cossack dagger (caucasian type) XIX-XX century. Blade has 1 thin fuller, without stamps. Horn hilt with steel decorative pins. Wooden scabbard fitted by leather, steel locket and chape. Total length: 32.3cm Blade length: 19.8cm In 1903-1904 were decided to accept one type of shashka and dagger. According to Atamans opinion were decided to keep the same blade but feel free with decoration. That's why we can see great work has to be done on simple daggers.
