A nice general sword by Uemura Sadakie - traditional japanese katana gendai samurai sword in gunto koshirae frame. Hand-forged blade made by Uemura Sadakie (Uemuera Yasahati) from Amata Sadaesi school. 1936. Sword end is signed by author, has two fastener holes. Hilt fitted by slope leather, has local gold-plate bronze. Wooden scabbard fitted by brown leather. Comes with shirasaya. Total length: 105cm Blade length: 74cm
