A nice cossack officer's shashka (caucasian type) 1881/1910 type, with Alexander II of Russia mono. Made in Germany blade, "E.&F.Horster Solingen" stamp. Blade has 2 thin and 1 wide fullers, nickel plated, etching decor, light corrosion.Wooden hilt with fullers. Brass elements, Alexander II of Russia mono. Wooden scabbard fitted by black leather, with brass device. Very rare. Its hard to find Alexander II of Russia cossack shashka. Total length: 93cm Blade length: 78.3cm
