A nice big samurai sword katana by Takada Morie with NBTHK certificate, XVII Century. Blade has beautiful wavy line, end is signed by author - Takada Morie, has one fastener hole. Wooden hilt fitted by slope leather and braided by brown ribbon. Steel tsuba with samurai picture and encrusted by colored metal. Same style for other parts. Wooden scabbard and base are Edo period. Black lacquer scabbard. Has shirasaya. Shirasaya signed by famous japanese expert Kanzan Sato. Total length: 67cm Katana has NBTHK Certificate.
